Kundapur, Sep 24: “The tiger costumes are on the verge of extinction due to lack of support. It has its own identity,” said Kalakshetra Kundapur president B Kishore Kumar. He was speaking in a meeting in this connection held at Kundapur Kalakshetra office on September 23.

“The tiger costumes, dances and tradition cannot be seen elsewhere. Therefore, we have the responsibility to preserve it,” he said.

Journalist John D’Souza said that tiger costumes are classic.

Kalakshetra promoters Sathish Kaveri and Sanath Kumar Rai were present. Art lovers and tiger costume artists expressed their opinions. Rajesh Kaveri compered the programme.
