Mangaluru: Bharat Jodo Yatra to enter Karnataka in September end – Khader

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Sep 24: MLA and deputy leader of opposition U T Khader said that Bharat Jodo Yatra will enter Karnataka towards the end of September.

He said, “The march so far is a big success in Kerala. This march will be a historical one. No one has undertaken such a march in the history of India and no one will ever do also. This march will instill confidence and hope in people.

“Daily living expenses have skyrocketed in the country. Government is directly responsible for the situation. Financial situation has reached its nadir. Only the rich are becoming super rich. Poor people are still getting poorer. Due to the pro-affluent policies of the government, a man who was at the number 30 richest spot has reached second place in the country.

“Everywhere, people are being divided on the basis of religion and caste. None of the states in the country have animosity towards each other. Rahul Gandhi is doing the march to unite people.

“People from Mangaluru will take part in the one day programme at Chamarajanagar. The programme will take place on October 2. All leaders of Congress are united. Only BJP does false propaganda to create confusion among public. They cannot break our unity. From two years they are trying to break us.

“The historical march of Rahul Gandhi will enter Karnataka via Gundlupet. This is the longest foot march in the history of our country spanning 3500 km. the aim of the march is to unite Indians. No one is at peace and happiness in the country at present. This march will give confidence to people.

“Congress leaders might have deviated from the ideology but the party has never gone astray. Mahatma Gandhi himself said that ‘Ek Bharath Shresht Bharath’. We have done the campaign of PayCM posters.

“If Congress does a campaign BJP calls it wrong. They can do anything on social media. Did they not put derogatory comments against Rahul, Sonia and Siddaramaiah? Why no investigation was done at that time?

“Of late unrest, fear and murders have increased in society. Whoever does the work of creating fear, legal action should be taken against them without prejudice. However, when taking legal action discrimination should not be done.

“The government is in the hands of BJP. Let them provide evidence and take action. When there is a legal system in the country no one can withdraw cases. When riots take place, there is opportunity to withdraw cases. It is not right on the part of BJP to simply accuse Congress of withdrawing cases against SDPI and PFI workers. Let them show proof,” he said.

Khader further said, “Mangalore University was an A grade university. After the formation of the new syndicate it is relegated to B Grade. In coming days it will further degraded to C. Hebri degree college has got A grade. Why the Mangalore University has got B Grade? Syndicate meeting is held in five star hotel in Bengaluru. The vice chancellor of the university has to take control. He should not bend to the decisions taken by the syndicate members. Question papers are misplaced, results are not announced on time, and chaos is created while issuing certificates.
