Mangaluru: St Agnes CBSE School holds session on 'Eat healthy, live healthy'

Mangaluru, Sep 24: Eating a wide variety of healthy foods helps us to keep in good health and protect us against chronic disease. Eating healthy foods and exercising regularly make us strong and fit. This topic was highlighted by the students of St Agnes CBSE School grade III ABCD during their classroom activity which was held on September 10th.

The class teachers of III std gave opportunities to each student to exhibit their talents. They motivated the students with an action song on healthy food, dance, role play highlighting the effects of eating junk food, Presentation on 5 food groups, Yoga and aerobics. Each of the students exhibited their talents skillfully and creatively. Fruits, vegetables, grains, physical activities are very important to keep the body healthy.

The students learnt how to be healthy and what type of food is necessary to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
