Brahmavar: Furniture, sound system donated to Gundmi govt school

Brahmavar, Sep 24: Rotary Club Hangarakatte Sastan and Kind Hearts Trust handed over chairs, furniture and sound system to Gundmi government higher primary school.

Speaking on the occasion, Manjo Kumar, President of Hangarkatte-Sastan Rotary club said, “Rotary club cooperation will always be there in the development of Gundmi government school.”

Managing director of Kind Hearts said, “We are gifting these items to the educational institutions with the intention of social service. We are hopeful that this will be beneficial. Today’s children have to get good education. This is our motto. That is why we have given this small gift.”

Saligrama town panchayat president Sulatha Hegde, SDMC president Mallika K Acharya, IT sevice director Muralidhar Nayari, secretary of old students’ association Ravindra Kamath and head teacher of the school Usha were present.

Ganesh G welcomed the gathering. Balakrishna Poojary rendered vote of thanks.
