Nasik: Swami Vishweshateerta Inaugurates City Branch of Pejavar Mutt

Nasik, Jul 6: “Our country is an abode of many religions and diverse cultures. Religious practices contribute to social welfare and inspire one to indulge in religious virtues. It also promotes global peace among brethren. This objective has been fulfilled by offering the Vaikuntadham and Socio-Cultural Complex to the society”, said Sri Vishweshateerta Swami of Pejavar Mutt, Udupi.
Swami Vishweshateerta was speaking after inaugurating the newly-constructed Vaikuntadham and Socio-Cultural Centre at Panchavati on Sunday July 4. Both buildings will serve as city branch of the Pejavar Mutt.
The chief donors Nagendra and Aruna Acharya, former Mayor Bal Saheb Sanaf, local corporator Samadhan Jadav, Tulu Sangh – Nashik president Bhaskar Shetty, entrepreneur Gangadhar Amin, BSKBA Mumbai president Suresh S Rao Kateel, organizer A S Rao, and CIDCO former top officer Anant B Arvind were the chief guests on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Suresh S Rao said that the traditional daily worship brings one closer to God. Meanwhile, he sought divine grace on people in order to enlighten all those who seek heavenly bliss in their life on earth.
“Spirituality has conquered science in many respects and India is reckoned in the world for seeking spirituality and tranquility”, said A S Rao.
Swami Vishweshateerta honoured the chief donors Nagendra and Aruna Acharya, Vastu consultants Ashish Ranadive and Suruchi Ranadive, project co-ordinator B Karvir, trustees and others on the occasion.
Various Vedic rituals and ‘pujas’ were performed by the priests Ramdas Upadyaya, Prakash Acharya, and Hari Bhat.
Swami Vishweshateerta also planted a few saplings in the building complex.
Entrepreneur Sanjeev Bangera, Pejavar Mutt Mumbai caretakers Hari Bhat, Srinivas Bhat, Joshi, and Surendra Kumar Hegde were present on the occasion.
The programme began with prayer song by the local women. Ramdas Upadyaya welcomed the gathering. Vijay Kumar Shetty, Damodar Poojary, and Ravi Shetty compered the programme.
