Mangaluru: Srinivas College of Pharmacy welcomes fresh batch at Valachil campus

Mangaluru, Jan 7: The orientation programme for the fresh batch of Srinivas College of Pharmacy students was held on January 7 at Valachil Campus, here.

CA A Raghavendra Rao, president of A Shama Rao Foundation and chancellor of Srinivas University, Mangaluru in his presidential remarks on the orientation day programme, appreciated the newly admitted Pharmacy students for having chosen pharmacy as their career at Srinivas College of Pharmacy.

The chief guest, Dr A Srinivas Rao, vice-president of A Shama Rao Foundation and pro-chancellor of Srinivas University, Mangaluru exhorted the students to work hard and come up in their career. He advised them to make the best use of the resources available in the college and to approach the faculty members for mentoring and guidance.

Dr A R Shabaraya, the principal gave a presentation of the profession of Pharmacy, detailing the course content with rules, regulations, he outlined its future scope and assured the parents about the safety of their wards. The principal advised the students to strictly adhere to Covid-19 guidelines.

The students who had taken admission accompanied by their parents attended the programme and expressed their views on the quality of the academic programmes imparted by the Srinivas College of Pharmacy. The programme was organized by complying with Covid-19 guidelines.

Dr E V S Subrahmanyam, professor of Srinivas College of Pharmacy, welcomed the gathering.

Dr Padmavathi P Prabhu, Mahananda Prabhu and Punya Prakash anchored the programme. Dr Karunakar Hegde proposed the vote of thanks.
