Mangaluru: IPA of Srinivas College Valachil selected for Local branch of Excellence Award

Mangaluru, Jan 6: The Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Mumbai has selected the Indian Pharmaceutical Association, a local branch, here, for the Local Branch of Excellence Award for the year 2020. This award was announced based on the professional activities conducted and the contribution the branch has made for the development and creating awareness about the profession of pharmacy in Dakshina Kannada district.

While reacting to the announcement, Dr A R Shabaraya, president of IPA local branch, Mangaluru and principal of Srinivas College of Pharmacy, here, thanked all the members of the association for their co-operation, help and contribution in realising the significance of the profession of pharmacy in and around Dakshina Kannada district, Mangaluru.

IPA local branch is situated in Srinivas College of Pharmacy Valachil and is continuously organising health and dental camps, blood donation camps, patient counselling and drug information services. Apart from all these activities, the local branch organises training and education programmes for community pharmacists.
