Bantwal: Two cars collide - Driver, child, woman injured

Bantwal, Dec 3: A tragic collision between two cars has resulted in injuries to three people here. The accident occurred at Kodaje, Mani Mysuru state highway. Mani resident, WagonR car driver Nayaz suffered serious injuries in the accident and is admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru. His relatives Safa and a small child have escaped with minor injuries.

They were returning from wedding hall in Neralakatte after attending a programme in their WagonR car when a Ritz car approaching from Mani leading to Kodaje Ramachandrapura Math rammed their car causing the accident.

The front portion of the WagonR car was badly mangled from the impact. The airbag of Ritz car went off and those in that car escaped with minor injuries.

Vittal police personnel visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
