Beltangady, Dec 2: In a road accident involving a motorbike which happened at Kominadka in Badagakajekar village near Punjalkatte on Tuesday December 1, Klaramma (60), wife of Jose from Kadaba Onibagilu lost her life. Klaramma was riding as the pillion of the two-wheeler.
Klaramma was living with her daughter-in-law Anusha. Anusha was riding the motorbike in which Klaramma was seated. While the bike was moving towards Paledu via Pandavarakallu from Madanthyar, the bike wheels skid and its rider lost grip on the vehicle. Klaramma fell down and suffered serious injuries. Even though she was taken to a hospital at Puonjalkatte immediately, her life could not be saved. Anusha was admitted into hospital with serious injuries.
The deceased has left behind a son, husband, and two daughters. A case about the accident was registered in Punjalkatte police station.
