Goa: Restrictions on cinema halls, pools, events relaxed

Panaji, Nov 29: As per official order cinema halls, swimming pools, gathering for religious, social, cultural, educational, sports and entertainment events were allowed to resume in Goa.

Ajit Roy South Goa collector issued the orders stating that swimming pools can function for training and sports purposes, while cinema halls and other events the attendance is capped at 50 per cent of capacity of venue.

The circular also stated SOP’s mentioned for various activities, including trains, air travel, metro trains, schools, educational institutions, hotels and restaurants, shopping malls, multiplexes and entertainment parks, yoga centres etc, will have to be strictly followed.
