Bengaluru: ‘It is better if BJP govt is out of power in state’ - Former CM Siddaramaiah

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Nov 28: "It is better if the BJP government loses power in Karnataka. Then only the environment will be good in the state," said former chief minister (CM) and leader of opposition Siddaramaiah.

When asked about the meeting conducted by migrants including MTB Nagaraj who have joined BJP, Siddaramaiah said, "I will not speak about that subject. Let them do whatever they want. We are not bothered. They went to BJP for business. I do not know their deal."

Siddaramaiah further said, "You will come to know once the assembly session begins. You see what we are going to speak in the session. There are various subjects including flood etc. You can see yourself."

Reacting to the matter of including Lingayat community to OBC category, Siddaramaiah said, "There is a commission which looks after the OBC. There is a permanent OBC commission also. Including or deleting from the list is left to the commission. First a report has to be given that a commission can be formed. Then action will be taken on that report. There is no harm in asking for including a caste in OBC. It is given in Article 334 of the Constitution itself. I do not know whether Yediyurappa is doing this commission for Lingayats in order to safeguard his chair or not?"

Responding on the matter of suicide attempt by N R Santhosh, political secretary of CM Yediyurappa, Siddaramaiah said, "I do not know who Santhosh is? That is his personal matter. I do not know whether there is political pressure etc behind his act. Everything will come to light after the inquiry."

23 Congressmen are strengthening the BJP by wrecking damage to the congress from within. How can BJP govt go out of power in the state or centre? Siddaramaiah should introspect on the damage happening from within. Those who are dissenting in congress have no roots but have enjoyed power for over 30 years. On their own, they cannot ensure the victory of a panchayat member.

This kind of caste wise reservation has to be ended immediately. If Indian people had/have not developed ...is only because to this stupid reservation. If our quality of services are not up to the mark, because of this stupid and idiotic reservation. If you do not wish to stop this reservation immediately......give only five years and stop it forever. if they have not been developed because of this stupid reservation in one generation, they will never develop / or will never be developed in the future also.

The present Govt in the state is the outcome of resort politics that virtually subverted the will of the people and made democracy a Mockery. Suspicion on the role of EVM's has also cast a cloud on the authencity of this Govt.

The BJP and especially Modi should not hesitate to reintroduce ballot papers if they believe they still have the confidence of the people which appears very Doubtful.

BJP Will form the government even with ballot. Congress and other secularists don't recognize the common man's feeling. Time and again I advised not to ridicule majority community but the congress made me Judas Iscariot. Now celebrate defeat.

If Siddaramaiah is out of politics, it's the best for congress.
As our senior most Congress leader Mr janardan poojary often say, Siddaramaiah is like a Big SHANI for congress.
