Mangaluru: Bike rider killed in accident near Tadambail

Mangaluru, Nov 25: After a lorry hit a mtoorbike near Madhya Cross at Tadambail near Suratkal, the bike rider was killed on the spot. The accident happened in the afternoon of Tuesday, November 24.

The deceased motorbike rider was Vinod Kumar (45), a resident of Soorinje village. He was moving near the Madhya Cross at Tadambail from the direction of Suratkal to reach his house at Soorinje when a fish truck that was moving towards Suratkal at high speed hit the motorbike. The impact of the accident was such that the lorry dragged away the motorbike and its rider for some distance before stopping.

Vinod Kumar used to do centering work. He has left behind wife and two daughters.
