Mangaluru: Jan Andolan Campaign Awareness Walkathon programme on COVID 19 held by FMHMCH

Mangaluru, Oct 31: The department of Community Medicine and NSS unit of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College on October 30 organized a Jan Andolan Campaign Awareness Walkathon programme on COVID 19 –appropriate behaviour at Mudipu Junction.

It is an initiative by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, to emphasize three key factors to break the chain of spread. They include wearing mask, maintaining social distance and ensuring hand hygiene.

The team led by Dr Sajan K R, HOD from the department of Community Medicine including Dr Kashyap Suvarna, assistant professor of the separtment of Community Medicine, Dr Sooraj K V, Dr Diana R, members of NSS and Dr Deeraj Fernandes, Covid – 19 warriors organized and participated in this programme. Interns of the college enthusiastically participated in the walkathon by displaying placards and raised slogans to create awareness among the community.
