Udupi: Navajeevana Israel group distributes scholarships to deserving students

Udupi, Oct 29: Navajeevana Israel group in association with ICYM Kolalgiri unit provided scholarships to three deserving students. Navajeevana Israel is a group formed by people residing abroad to help the needy through various projects.

Through the ICYM Kolalgiri unit, scholarships worth Rs 25,000 was provided to three deserving students. Fr Prakash Anil Catelino handed over the scholarships to Reshma Naik, Glanet Mascarenhas and to Monica Mendonca.

In his address, Fr Prakash Anil Castelino said, "I sincerely thank the Navajeevana Israel group for their socialistic attitude by helping the deserving students in pursuing education. Let their good deeds reach more people and bring development in society. All the students who received scholarships should study well in the upcoming days also. I also thank everyone who has made it possible to provide the scholarships," he said.



Jevin Dsa, president of ICYM Kolalgiri, Jacintha D'Souza, 20 commission secretary Naveen D'Souza, ward gurkar Ashwin of ICYM Kolalgiri unit, office bearers and others were present on the occasion.
