Mangalore, Apr 23: Padmashree Mohammed Rafi Foundation was inaugurated during a function held at Lions Seva Mandir here, recently. MLA U T Khader inaugurated the foundation.  

Managing trustee Pascal Baptist Pinto lauded the musical talent of Bollywood legendary singer the late Mohammed Rafi. Mumbai Rafi Foundation chairman Binu Nair, Dakshina Kannada District Congress Committee (DCC) vice-president Ivan D’Souza, Inland Infrastructure Developers Private Limited managing director Siraj Ahmed, MUDA former chairman Suresh Ballal and former deputy superintendent of police Sharief were present on the dais. 

Foundation trustees Mohammed Hanif, Vittoba Bhandarkar, Abdul Majeed Sooralpady, U B Abdul Salim Ullal, Badruddin Panambur, Naseema Hanif and Arshad Vorkady among others were present. 

A musical concert as a tribute to the late legendary singer Mohammed Rafi was staged by city’s ace singer Mohammed Hanif after the stage programme.

    I am a great fan of mod rafi ever since I was in india back in 60.i used to lisen to binaca geet mala evry Wednesday. I love to tune rafi songs in whistle which is very rear I can sing in whistle the dil ek mandir hai.( yaad na jae beate dinoki and many more songs but I never have the oppontunety to sing through microphone.wher ever I go to indian shopes I just sing rafi songs in whistle and people love it.i realy miss rafi saab just imagen if he was alive during the digital technology. I have a song of baju bawra transfer in to digital of his tour of London during 1975 that song sound so beautiful when I play on my hifi. may god bless this unblivable un fogotable singer which no other country or even india can produce ever bone again. long live rafi saab and his songs.

    Rafisaab voice is a great magic n magnetic even attracts the laymen who do not know music..he is already bharat ka rattan...our govt is in deep slumber..kudos to binu nair for carrying his magic to all corners of india...long live rafi saab mesmerised voice...even thousands of present day singers can not make one rafi...we adore,worship n keep him in place of our god..

    Kabhi kabhi alfaaz chhote pad jaate hain baday logon ki taarif ke liye ya kuchh bahut baday kaam ke liye. Un tamaam logon ko jo is kaam mein shaamil hain main mubarakbaad deta hoon.

    what to comment.keep up the goodwork.i have always seen that MR. PASCAL PINTO WORKS HARD BEHIND THE SCENE.here in kuwait or in india he always help the needy people.there is no religion for him. when some one is in trouble.he always stood by the person whenever they face problems.he is the great human being i have ever seen,daijiworld should honuor such personalities.thanks. this is my views other wise dont feel bad.
