Mangaluru: SJEC wins Best Project of the Year Award at 43rd KSCST SPP

Mangaluru, Oct 14: Continuing its tradition of securing sponsorship and excelling in the Project Exhibitions organized by Karnataka State Council of Science and Technology (KSCST), students of St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Mangaluru, won two 'Best Project of the Year Award' under KSCST 43rd Series of Student Projects Programme (SPP).

For the academic year 2019-2020, a total of 13 students’ project proposals from SJEC were approved for KSCST sponsorship. Out of these, the following two projects bagged the Best Project Award:

1. Design and Fabrication of Combined Wheel chair and Bed - Preetham A Almeida, Naveen G Chalwadi, Paramvir Singh Chambyal and Rion Francis Pinto carried out this project under the guidance of MrYathish Kumar K and Dr Binu KG from the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

2. Eye in the Sky - Sushan Sapaliga, Princy Paul D’Silva, Rachel Pinto and SB Shubra carried out this project, under the guidance of MsVijetha U from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

The management of the college congratulates the students and guides for this significant achievement and wishes them the best in their future endeavours.
