Mangaluru, Sep 26: The Konkani Sangha of St Aloysius College (Autonomous) for the academic year 2020-2021 was inaugurated on September 25 in an online mode.

Poet/writer/theatre artiste Sannu Monis Boliye from Abu Dhabi entertained the web audience with the traditional instrument ‘Gumat’.

Fr Dr Praveen Martis SJ, principal of St Aloysius College (Autonomous) graced the occasion. Presidents Flora Castelino, Severine Pinto, Olwin D'Souza and Sharol Rodrigues were present on the occasion.



Members Anna Maria and Josline introduced the guests to the audience. Secretaries Sharrel Dsouza and Elson Dsouza welcomed and rendered the vote of thanks. Ashwia Dsouza compered the programme.

A cultural programme was also hosted by the association members through the online platform.
