Kadaba: Youth from Paltady transforms scooter into mini tipper

Daijiworld Media Network - Kadaba (SP)

Kadaba, Sep 23: A villager from Paltady near here has invented a scooter tipper that is tiny enough to move between trees in plantations.

Purushotham (23) has transformed a Yamaha scooter into a scooter tipper. It is very useful for carrying sand and other things into and out of the plantation, loading areca nut etc. Bigger vehicles find it hard to navigate in small gaps between plants, trees and other vegetation whereas this scooter tipper does the job of a mini tipper truck, he explains.

Purushotham is the son of Babu Shetty and Yamuna couple from Bambila in Paltady village. He has invented certain things even in the past. Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari, Dr D Veerendra Heggade himself has appreciated the invention. MLA Angara too has praised him. Purushotham, a student of K S Gowda ITI at Nintikal is currently doing project work at Ujjre SDM Engineering College. He has modified the 130cc engine scooter by fixing several pieces of equipment. Gearbox has been fixed to help the tipper to move in the desired direction freely. A three-feet wide goods compartment has been created which Purushotham says can carry two quintals of weight.

There may be Million hidden brains in our country and given an opportunity/proper encouragement and support by some organizations such brains could be developed into an asset for the society & the country.
I hope some Auto Industries will come forward to offer him some employment and consider his patent to manufacture similar products on a large scale and affordable cost to benefit the farmers.

What may be its width and length. The minimum width should be at least 3 feet. I appreciate this youngman's Super Idea. Research again on fitting a diesel engine with more power and less cost. Approach the local MLA for financial help. You have good future my friend.

Purushotham Sir, Congratulations on successfully designing of your scooter tipper. Your parents and neighbours are very proud of you.
One humble suggestion sir, please check if you can patent your design...I believe since this is your original idea, you should receive complete recognition for it. Wishing you all the best, God is watching over you.

Good .One has to use brain and work on it.I just have one question. Is it allowed in India from officials to make changes on vehicles as one want ?any problems arise when goes for tests?here it is not allowed.Second I find it is not good to operate in between the trees ,where trees get lot of carbon dioxide .(probably in India no tests are made about technical fitness of vehicle)
