Adelaide (Australia), Sep 22: This year, Konkan community in Adelaide, South Australia, celebrated the Nativity Feast of Mother Mary at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hindmarsh, on September 19.

Veneration of Mother Mary was held before the Holy Mass by offering and showering flowers to Mother Mary by all the children and adults. Holy Mass was celebrated by Fr Lancy D’ Silva, Fr Santhosh Pereira and Fr Joseph Raja with beautiful hymns sung by the choir members and a meaningful homily from Fr Santhosh Pereira.

Most of the families attended the celebration of Holy Mass. Popular traditional sugar cane was served to all the attendees and sweet treats to all the children in the name of Mother Mary.

It was a beautiful celebration and great joy to see the families and children offering respect to Mother Mary.
