Mangaluru: Shakthi PU College bids farewell to principal

Mangaluru, Sep 19: "As principal of Shakthi PU College, along with the deliverance of my responsibility, I was exposed to a lot of new information, met new people and learnt lessons for life through this organisation," said Prabhakara G S accepting the felicitation and farewell organized for him.

"Serving in places like Mysuru and Bengaluru was in line with my birthplace Mandya, therefore the excitement was something different. This place and the people around have influenced me to a greater extent and that inspired me to continue enjoying this profession here," he concluded.

Sanjith Naik, the secretary of Shakthi Group of Institutions said that the farewell is just symbolic and the relationship does not end at this. The contact would remain mutual in future too he anticipated and conveyed good wishes to the outgoing principal.



Dr K C Naik, the administrator of Shakthi conveyed his blessings and acknowledged the contributions of Prabhakara G S in the growth of this new institution. He encouraged him to strive high and write books in the subject of his interest.

Chief advisor, Ramesh K and Neema Saxena, coordinator of SGK pre-school were present along with the teaching fraternity.

Institute Development officer, Prakyath Rai welcomed the gathering and Vidya Kamath G principal of Shakthi Residential School proposed the vote of thanks. Shilpa, lecturer in Commerce compered the programme.
