Mangaluru: 'Biruver Kudla' seeks to rename Ladyhill Circle after Narayana Guru

Mangaluru, Sep 16: On behalf of the central committee Friends Ballabagh Biruver Kudla, a memorandum was handed over to the MLA and the city mayor, seeking to rename Ladyhill Circle in the city after humanist and great visionary, Brahmashree Narayana Guru.

In the year 2018, a memorandum containing a similar request had been handed over to MLA, Vedavyas Kamath. Now, the memorandum was handed over to the MLA and mayor Diwakar on Tuesday, September 15.

Founder of Biruver Kudla Uday Poojary said that both the MLA Vedavyas Kamath and mayor Diwakar had positively responded to their request.



City standing committee chairman Kiran Kodical and others were present.
