Mangaluru: MuleSoft-AIMIT collaborate to develop programmes under industry-academia collaboration

Media Release

Mangaluru, Aug 14: A series of MuleSoft Developer Training programmes were held by MuleSoft for the MCA and MSc Software Technology Students of St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Beeri, here.

The first on Campus Training programme was held for a week from March 2 to March 7, the remaining two batches have week-long workshops online in May and June. The students who have completed the training programme are going for the Global Certification process from MuleSoft-Salesforce, leading Analytics platform. On August 14 a one-day webinar was organized by MuleSoft Development team to train all the IT graduates, on the MuleSoft University LMS platform.

Over a decade ago, MuleSoft founder, Ross Mason created a short string of texts that pioneered a simple, powerful idea: why crank out custom code over and over when it is faster and more efficient to assemble the right components? Today, over 175,000 developers and leading companies in almost every industry depend on the game-changing platform MuleSoft. MuleSoft has been part of the Salesforce family for over a year. During this time, it has been helping companies achieve digital transformation by easily connecting all their business systems.

Customers expect connected experiences. They do not want to see the seams where your systems and departments meet. MuleSoft brings this together by helping organizations change and innovate faster by making it easy to connect any application, data, and device with APIs — Application Programming Interfaces. APIs are messengers that take requests and tell a system what a user wants it to do, then returns the response to that user.

MuleSoft makes it easy to unify data to deliver a single view of the customer, automate business processes, and build connected experiences. By using a modern API-led approach, each integration becomes a reusable building block. This process that optimizes a reusable process enables organizations to accelerate IT delivery, increase organizational agility, and deliver innovation at scale. The results speak for themselves. Forrester found MuleSoft customers realize an ROI of 445% within just three years and were able to free up 90% developer time from maintaining APIs and integrations.

MuleSoft-AIMIT St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangaluru collaboration is aiming at training MCA and MSc Software Technology students to meet the manpower requirements in this sector. The course curriculum is jointly developed by the Industry-Academia-R&D departments which deal with all the disruptive technologies such as Cloud & Edge Computing, Mobile App Development, Social Media, Data Science and Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence – Machine Learning – Deep Learning, Internet of Things, Augmented/Virtual Reality etc.
