Udupi: Elderly woman falls into well, rescued by Good Samaritans

Udupi, Aug 6: An elderly woman, who accidentally fell into the well of her own house was saved by three Good Samaritans.

This incident occurred on Thursday, August 6 at Kukkikatte Marpalli near here.

The woman, who was in a helpless condition after falling into the well was rescued by police sub-inspector (PSI) Sadashiva Ra Gavaroji, fire service personnel Vinayaka and auto driver Rajesh Nayak.

The trio, who showed exemplary courage and presence of mind in saving the life of the elderly lady, were congratulated by Nithyananda Olakadu and Tharanath Mesta Shiroor, conveners of Udupi district civilian committee.
