Kundapur, Jul 4: VHP and Bhajrang Dal Kandlur, Red Cross society, district health and family welfare department Udupi and primary health center held a blood donation camp here inaugurated by VHP divisional secretary Sharan Pumpwell.
He said that more than eight thousand units of blood was donated during the last two months in Mangaluru division.
Covid Kandlujr Primary Health Center medical officer, Lata Nayak, health department staff and Asha workers were felicitated on the occasion.
VHP zonal convener, Sunil K R, Bhajrang Dal taluk convener, Sudhir Merdi, journalist, Vasanth Giliar, Kundapur Red Cross Society chairman, Jayakar Shetty, treasurer, Shivarama Shetty were present.
Samrat Shetty Halnadu welcomed the gathering. Prakashchandra Shetty gave the introduction. Sampath compered the programme.
