Bantwal, Jul 2: Modankap parishioners of Infant Jesus Church, Modankap on June 29 bid farewell to Fr Ashwin Crasta and welcomed Fr Thrishan Dsouza. Fr Thrishan Dsouza, assistant director of St Anthony Charity Institutes, Jeppu will serve as assistant parish priest of Infant Jesus Church, Modankap.
Fr Ashwin Lawrence Crasta who was the assistant parish priest of Infant Jesus Church, Modankap for the past two years is appointed as the assistant parish priest of St Sebastian Church, Bendore by Mangaluru bishop.
With ambivalent feelings of elation and sadness, Modankap parishioners bid farewell to Fr Ashwin Crasta.
Both the priests took charge of their respective parishes amidst religious rituals.
