Udupi: 10 fever clinics including one at KMC Manipal open

Udupi, Jun 19: COVID-19 surveillance has intensified in the district. Over 10 fever clinics are opened in Udupi. People suffering from fever or cold should compulsorily get themselves examined.

Committees are formed on village and ward levels. Fever clinics are started in Brahmavar, Shirva, Byndoor, Kundapur, Nitte, Kota, Hebri, Karkala primary health centre, Udupi district hospital and KMC hospital. Facilities to collect throat swabs have also been made available in these facilities.

All the large hospitals in the district and nursing homes have been directed to open separate fever testing centres. People suffering from fever or experiencing breathing problems are advised to visit the nearest fever testing centre and get themselves examined.
