Lets all sing the praises of our dear Modi ji. Everyone in India was going hyper about how amazing Modi ji is and how he was the only prime minister in the world to take such a step of lockdown and how great he is and etc etc etc. Because he took such a sudden step and didn't allow people to go back to their hometown, now when people are returning, more people are taking the virus with them. He should have allowed people to return to their hometowns when the spread was still low and then sealed the country. People go hyper very quickly. When a step is taken, everyone starts pointing fingers at other countries and insulting them because their great Modi is the only great prime minister in the world. but then it becomes only a temporary hyper act because it all backfires in due time. Never blame and insult other people/countries because you never know when you will start going backwards.

Very true words! Everyone is busy pointing fingers at others, they don't realise what's about to happen in their own towns. But that is an Indian trademark re. That's what makes us all Indian. That we talk about people and point fingers. It's our favourite time pass re

Even If he did as you want , you would have commented same way . We all know there are hard core critics who never agree with our PM. Its a open truth. Coming to your point of view. Considering the population and recovery rate . It is normal and To be frank you cannot contain a virus unless you stop it at its origin which was china, and they hid it from world and allowed to spread it , and thx for your love towards GVMNT

This isn't even about containing the virus. Yes, I pointed that out, but the main point of my comment was about how people were going hyper praising their modi and now its all backfired at them.

Its very true that India has a huge population and containing the virus is a bigger task for them than some other countries. Same as the US. The US is also a bigger country than some and they also found it hard to contain the virus. But Indians didn't think of that when they started pointing fingers at them. I am not a US supporter and neither do I live in the US. But its an example. When you point fingers at others and bring them down, you don't stay afloat for long either.

I agree with Giselle. It is true that all this time we spent in lockdown has now been a waste because we are worst off then we should have been. The steps taken by the government was a very short term thing and we should have known that it would not last long. Now everyone is suffering
