Kundapur: Education minister Suresh Kumar praises Heskathoor School's headmaster Babu Shetty

Kundapur, Jun 9: Karnataka minister of education Suresh Kumar has praised Kundapur's Heskathoor High School headmaster Babu Shetty over the phone and on his official Facebook account.

The education minister spoke highly of the selfless service Shetty does as an educator. Further, Kumar stated that he came to know about the headmaster's service when he was conducting a review meeting concerning the preparations for SSLC examinations during his visit to Udupi. “His name is Babu Shetty. He serves as headmaster of Heskathoor High School of Kundapur. He goes to the houses of 43 SSLC students of his school and personally teaches whatever lessons that the children have trouble understanding."

"I telephoned the noble soul and congratulated him for doing his job as an educator, I appreciated his service for even going to the homes of underprivileged students. He shared with pride and humility the matter that all the students of his class have passed with respectable marks since the last 23 years and are bringing out 100 per cent results. Teachers like Babu Shetty are the ones that increase our trust,” wrote the education minister.
