Mangaluru: Forum Fiza Mall gears up for reopening with enhanced safety measures

Media Release

Mangaluru, Jun 5: The current scenario has altered our way of life and Forum Fiza Mall has adapted and adjusted its approach to make the mall space safe for all Mangalureans.

The new system adopted by Forum Fiza Mall offers a bouquet of solutions that will enable social distancing, safety and hygiene across all touchpoints. With the new normal guidelines in place, Forum Fiza Mall is all set to open its doors for customers on June 8.

From controlling entries to safe permissible numbers, maintaining fever screenings, installing full-body fumigation tunnel and contact-less sanitization booths, Forum Fiza Mall has ensured that its staff and customers are provided with a safe environment. Safety indication on ArogyaSetu app, wearing of mask, sanitization and social distancing while entering the mall is mandatory. QR code-based contactless food ordering and billing service, maintaining a safe distance between tables and the separate family section will provide a safe dining experience for customers at the food court. Forum Fiza Mall and its retailers have planned and implemented measures to instill confidence in shoppers that malls are safe zones and there is no risk in shopping and eating out again.

Foot markers inside the lifts and escalators to facilitate social distancing has been implemented. Frequent steaming of garments and disinfecting surfaces such as escalators, cash counters, card machines, shopping bags, etc will be done by the brands to ensure a safe shopping experience. We are also taking proper safety precautions in the material handling procedure such as sanitizing fumigation of delivery trucks and materials, wearing of masks, gloves are compulsory for the delivery persons, limited entry of people and material inside the service lift etc.

As we will be operating one-third of our total footfall capacity, customers can visit the forummalls.in website and fix a time slot for visiting the mall wherein he/she will be given an e-pass with QR code which needs to be scanned while entering the mall and while exiting the mall. This will help in controlling the total traffic inside the mall at any point in time.

Keeping in mind the safety and health of our customers and employees, we at Forum have taken utmost care in providing the safest environment.

Available at the press meet for discussions and finalizing the above were Aravind Shrivastav, GM forum, Sunil, marketing manager (Phone- 7899686555), Venu Sharma, consultant.

From the press note, it seems, Forum Mall management is careful about the well being of its customers perhaps more than their respectuve family themselves.... Great work done!
