Kundapur, Jun 3: The first monsoon rains here caused havoc. Torrential rains created artificial floods. The roads are inundated due to bridge and unscientific four-lane road as water is unable to flow.

The underpass near Kundapur Vinayaka talkies is flooded. Vehicle drivers were stranded for some time. They were seen driving in the water with great difficulty.

Artificial floods are formed as no arrangements were made during road works for the flow of rainwater in the stormwater drains. Water was seen flowing onto the roads. Local people were seen complaining that officials did not pay attention despite the problems.
