Anuj Kohli distributes masks, sanitisers to underprivileged in Capital

New Delhi, May 29 (IANS): Actor Anuj Kohli distributed masks and sanitisers to the underprivileged in Ashok Vihar here. Anuj collaborated with nutritionist Divya Gandhi in his effort.

"I was overwhelmed to learn that Divya Gandhi is willing to extend hand for giving sanitisation kits and spreading COVID-19 awareness. During such times, it's imperative that we all get together as one and fight the virus," said Anuj.

The actor is currently seen in the show "Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega", and he recently shared how the show impressed his upset father.

"I am an MBA. I left everything because of my passion for acting. My mom supported me in my decision and was all standing with me but my dad was against this profession. He did not want to see me as an actor. I shifted to Mumbai leaving the comfort of Delhi and struggled for two years. I was earlier signed for 'Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh, Piyaji' but things did not work out," he had said.

"Soon my luck supported me and I got a debut on television screen with 'Detective Didi' but my dad was still not very happy. However, now after the growing popularity of our show 'Guddan...', he has changed his opinion and is now supporting me to pursue a career here in the industry. He does not miss a single episode of my show," Anuj had added.
