Three Maharashtra-returnees test corona-positive in Udupi on May 26

Udupi, May 26: Three people tested positive for coronavirus in Udupi on Tuesday, May 26.

All the three had returned from Maharashtra and were under quarantine. The three are females aged 9 and 30 and a man aged 27.

With this, the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the district have risen to 111 including a death. Three have recovered, and 107 are active.

Also, three from Dakshina Kannada, two males aged 30 and another male aged 37, all who returned from Qatar, tested positive in Bengaluru. All the three have been admitted to COVID hospital in Bengaluru.

    1. Earlier, in seventies and eighties Shiv Sena was blaming Kannadigas for over crowding Mumbai.
    2. We then grumbled, saying that Indians have constitutional right to work and settle anywhere in India.
    3. Shiv Sena was right, Mumbai was over crowded, became burden on its infrastructure and jobs.
    4. If density of population was contained then, today so much of infections wouldn't have taken place.
    5. Now even Kannadiga's blaming their own Kannadiaga's of Maharashtra and Gulf for Reverse migration due to Covid_19.
    6. Just imagine, who are right and more accommodating ?

    So when Kasargod people were trying to enter Mangalore there was lot of anger and protests from public and MLAs.Now when Udupi is becoming red zone because of Maharashtra people and cases increasing in Mangalore also,no protest.What a hypocrisy.

    Before Boarding any Vehicles are Flights, please collect the Covid-19 test certificates. That includes Gowda and any citizen of India

    As of now you can't get tested merely because you have to travel. Testing is restricted for those showing symptoms only.
