Udupi: Moving car goes up in flames on road, occupants safe

Udupi, Apr 17: In an incident which happened on Friday, April 17 morning, a car that was moving on the road suddenly caught fire and was gutted soon. The incident happened near Tiger Circle, Manipal.

The car in question was moving towards Manipal from the direction of Udupi when suddenly flames began to leap from it.

Fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot soon and extinguished the flames.

Two persons who were inside the car escaped unscathed in the mishap.

    More than 10 lakh worth car would have been saved if the owner kept one portable 'Fire extinguisher' in his boot.
    In many countries 'Fire extinguisher' is the part of the check list from the road safety authority.

    I request the Ministry of Transport Nitin Gadkari who is the only person in the BJP has vision for modernization of countries transport system to consider it.
