RSS demands early return of Kashmiri Pandits in valley

New Delhi, March 16 (IANS): The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has demanded the government facilitate the Kashmiri Pandits' return to the valley as soon as possible.

In this regard, an important resolution was passed in the meeting of the All India Executive Board, the apex body of the RSS in Bengaluru. In this resolution passed separately on Jammu & Kashmir, the RSS raised the demand for the return of all Hindus displaced in the valley.

The RSS in its resolution passed in the meeting held on March 14, praised the central government's decision to revoke Articles 370 and 35A from Jammu & Kashmir. The resolution states, "A large number of articles of the Constitution were either not implemented or amended in Jammu & Kashmir under the guise of Article 370. Provisions like Article 35A arbitrarily added to the Constitution sowed the seeds of separatism."

The RSS further stated in the resolution that "The All India executive board hopes that the expectations of the displaced and refugees will also be met soon. The process of safe and dignified rehabilitation of the displaced Hindus of the Kashmir Valley should be started at the earliest." Through this proposal, the RSS has indicated to the Modi government to act quickly in this direction.

The RSS has said in the resolution that after the reorganisation of J&K and Ladakh as two union territories, new possibilities of social and economic development of all the classes living in the three regions are open.

The reorganisation of the state has fulfilled the long-term aspirations of the people of Ladakh region. The RSS also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to revoke Articles 370, 35A and reorganise the state.

Had to come from the Rashtriya Shegani Sangh!

The Saffron dispensation of this country did NOT help the Kashmiri Pandit during the dark period of 1990s and supported V.P.Singh govt when the exodus and Genocide was going on.

Leave alone 1990s, BJP did nothing for Kashmiri pandits in last 30 years when they were in power.

BJP formed government 2 times since 1990s yet Atal Bihari Vajpayee did nothing for Kashmiri Pandits and neither did Narendera Modi.

Infact to add more to the wounds of Kashmiri Pandits, BJP formed Government with Mufti Mohammad Sayeed of PDP in Jammu and Kashmir. PDP is a Kashmir based political party, which has support from Seperatists. PDP always remains in denial for the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits. And yet BJP formed coalition government with PDP.

Thus the self styled champions of Hindutava did nothing for Kashmiri Pandits.

The reason for this is because Hindutava is only a political tool for BJP to win votes. The party only uses "saffron emotions" to win election and power very much like congress which uses appeasement for the same.

BJP was very much strong and popular in 1990s too but it chose to agaitate for Ram Mandir but remained mute in genocide of kashmiri Pandits, even when its own party workers were killed in Kashmir. Because Ram Mandir movement would have pulled votes but Kashmiri Pandits cause would't have.

Why Hindus and Kashmiri Pandits have not returned to Kashmir after 8 months of abrogation of article 370. Is it because they don't feel safer now than before to live in Kashmir or they are happier wherever they are living???. Even BJP said its heaven in Kashmir now including thier paid foriegn leaders. So what is holding back Pandits to return???.
