Twitterati pay tribute to martyr cop Ratan Lal


New Delhi, Feb 26 (IANS): After head constable Ratan Lal's martyrdom in the Delhi violence, Twitterati took to social media to pay tributes to the slain head constable for his dedication and sacrifice.

IPS Association paid tributes and tweeted, "HC #RatanLal performed his duty with utmost dedication & made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. He will be a shining example to keep duty above everything else in service of nation. May his noble soul rest in peace and his family gets courage to bear this irreparable loss."

BJP leader Rajeev Chandrasekhar tweeted, "Head constable #RatanLal who always took up tough challenges...#Salute."

"A user wrote, "@DelhiPolice you need to take cognisance of this. Else how will you honour #ratanlal_shaheed."

Another wrote, "We saved one hero from the enemy outside but couldn't save the one from the enemy within!!!"

A post read, "The nation will bring your killers to Justice sir" while another user remarked, "Deeply saddened and angered by the on duty killing of head constable #ratanlal_shaheed."

The head constable was allegedly killed in the Dayalpur police station area by miscreants when the violence was at its peak around noon on Monday.
