Mumbai, Jan 6: The Kannada department of Mumbai University released two books and held an exhibition of drawings at WRIC auditorium, Santacruz east on Saturday January 4.
The book ‘Vanya Varna’ by Prajavani Daily Mysuru edition assistant editor Ganesh Ameenagada was released by Davadas Shetty and ‘Ane Sakalu Horatavalu’ by Sahana Kantabailu was released by Jayanth Munnoli.
Sushila S Devadiga and Santhosh Mogaveera were presented MPhil awards and congratulated. Veteran journalist, author Ratnaker R Shetty Maheshwar Kantabailu, film artiste Jay C Salian, Sannayya Devadiga, Dr Sathish Munnoli, Dr Sangeeta Munnoli and other elite were present.
Kala Bhagavath, Parvati Poojary and Shashikala Heggade sang prayer song. Dr Poornima S Shetty welcomed the gathering, introduced the guests and compered the programme. Sushila Devadiga rendered the vote of thanks.
