Mangaluru: VK Utsav shopping festival draws to splendid close with lucky draw

Mangaluru, Jan 5: 'VK Utsav 2020', a shopping festival of a different kind, one marking Diwali, Christmas and New Year celebrations, came to a splendid conclusion with a lucky draw ceremony at VK Furniture and Electronics, Lobo Chambers, Yeyyadi here on Sunday, January 5.

Addressing the gathering, general manager of Canara Bank circle manager Yogish Acharya said, "We from Canara Bank take pride to be associated with VK Furniture. VK Furniture is known for its quality and customer service."

Rathnakar Jain from Jain Travels said, "I have known Vittal Kulal since before he stepped into this venture. I was wondering how it was possible for him to start this buisness three years ago when the market was down, but today VK Furniture stands tall and has stepped into fourth year of its existence."

Managing director of Daijiworld Television, Alexis Castelino said, "VK Furniture has successfully stepped into its fourth year with good quality and customer service. Even the staff at VK Furniture are so friendly. They give good customer service by giving lot of information to customers. The new showroom coming up at Thokkottu has a huge collection of furniture."

In the lucky draw, Narayana Pai won the bumper prize and took home a Suzuki Wagon R car, while Pawan won the second bumper prize, a Suzuki Access 125cc. The other winners took home mobile phones, refrigarator, washing machine, television, dining set, sofa set and bedroom set.

Chethan Kumar Shetty compered the programme.

Director of VK Furniture and VK Living Concepts Vittal Kulal, Canara Bank chief manager (Gandhinagar branch) Rajesh Pai, Canara Bank retired bank officer A S Bhat, Mohan Baliga from Lobo Chambers and Shivanand from Karavali Marketing were present.
