Mumbai: Maharashtra govt to reserve 80 per cent private jobs for locals

Mumbai, Dec 1: On Sunday, Maharashtra governor, BS Koshyari stated that government will enact a law to reserve 80 per cent private-sector jobs for 'sons of the soil'.

The statement was made while addressing the joint sitting of the state legislature at Vidhan Bhawan.

Koshyari claimed that the new alliance of Sena-NCP-Congress formed under the name Maha Vikas Aghadi was focused towards reducing the unemployment rate in the state.
