Mangaluru, Nov 29: 2M d.ENT.al, ENT and Dental clinic, set up with the aim to treat all people who come to the clinic in a professional and compassionate way, will be inaugurated at Milestone 25, Balmatta circle, Collectors Gate, on December 1.
The Otorhinolaryngology – EAR, NOSE and THROAT division is dedicated to treatment for diseases of the Ear, hearing, balance, as well as disorders of the Nose, Sinuses, allergy, sleep, and disturbances of throat, change of voice in adults and children.

Advanced facilities at the ENT wing of 2M Clinic include video-laryngoscopy, diagnostic nasal endoscopy and oto-endoscopy.
The dental division is fully equipped to handle all dental issues in adults and children. The clinic is well -equipped to cater to Orthodontic treatment in children and adults, paediatric concerns, implants, cosmetic dentistry, crowns, preventive care and oral hygiene advice.
Sterilization is an important aspect of the services offered in this clinic. Hence, a state-of-the-art sterilizer is being used to keep the instruments clean.
A digitalized intraoral image plate scanning and processing system is used for obtaining quality X- rays to aid in diagnosis.
Dr Marina Saldanha upon completion of her MBBS medical degree, from the prestigious, Kasturba Medical College, Mangaluru, in 2005 went on to pursue her post-graduation in a surgical field, namely ENT (otorhinolaryngology) at JJM Medical College, Davangere. Upon completion of her masters, she went for hands-on training courses in ear surgery and sinus surgery. She worked in Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Hubballi for over three years and gained valuable experience. Presently, she is attached to the renowned K S Hegde Medical Academy, Deralakatte, as an assistant professor, with proficiency in various ENT procedures like endoscopic sinus surgery, ear, nose, throat, thyroid, head and neck surgeries. She has various articles and publications to her name.
Dr McQueen Mendonca having worked at Fr Muller’s hospital as a general dental practitioner from 2001 to 2006 gained the love and respect of all people. His skill and compassion during general dental practice drew patients for near and far. Having completed working for five years at Fr Muller’s, with expertise in general dental practice, including Root canal treatments, and minor oral surgical procedures, Dr McQueen felt the need for specialization and chose Orthodontics as his field. After completion of his post-graduation he started his extensive practice in various private clinics in and around Mangaluru and as far as Kerala and Tamil Nadu as a visiting consultant. He has various publications and presentations to his credit.
He is currently working as reader in the department of Orthodonticspost-graduation at the renowned A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Deralakatte.
