UAE launches job portal for public, private sector employment

Dubai, Nov 27: In yet another unique achievement, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy prime minister and minister of Presidential Affairs, launched a new jobs'
portal, 'UAE Jobs Bank', on Tuesday to help Emiratis find public and private sector employment in 160 professions.

The job portal was started as part of the implementation of the cabinet's resolution that oblige all government entities and private sectors to prioritize the
employment of UAE nationals in 160 targeted professions to support the Emiratisation portfolio.

The launch was announced during the third UAE government annual meetings chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice-president, prime minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE armed forces, in the presence of their Highnesses the Crown Princes.
