Bengaluru: Man steals 118 cars as 'revenge' against police

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Oct 19: In a bizarre case, a person stole 118 cars as vengeance against police for allegedly registering a false car theft case against him three years ago.

The police arrested the alleged car thief identified as Parameshwar Armugam and his accomplice Saddam Hussain. The duo used a universal remote to steal cars. The police have seized 10 luxury stolen cars worth Rs 1.70 crore from their possession.

The alleged car thief Parameshwar Armugam was arrested by Chennai police three years ago over a petty case. It is alleged that the police registered a fake Scorpio car theft case against him. Parameshwar who was angry and upset decided to take revenge against the police.

Parameshwar Armugam

Soon after he came out from jail, he stole 25 Scorpio SUVs. He then called up and challenged the Chennai police to arrest him and later went missing.

Parameshwar then shifted to Bengaluru but did not stop stealing cars. Over the years, he stole several cars in Madiwala, Mico Layout, Hulimavu and other neighbourhoods in Bengaluru.

Parameshwar was finally caught when he was trying to install a CCTV camera in the bathroom of a women’s hostel in Madiwala.

Wanted in over 17 cases, Parameshwar confessed to stealing 118 cars. Parameshwar’s wife is a high court lawyer and his son is a state level hockey player.

I am so confused with this two lines "Wanted in over 17 cases, Parameshwar’s wife is a high court lawyer and his son is a state level hockey player". IS IT TRUE THAT HIS WIFE IS HIGH COURT LAWYER? These things can happen only in our country!

The wife is a high court lawyer, the son is molded into state level sportsman and so I think Parameshwar too is an educated man. The petty case and the fake scorpio theft case could have ruined his reputation in the society and also his life. My sympathies with him.
My only suggestion is that he could have stolen police vehicles instead of stealing vehicles of aam aadmi!

His mission would have been completed had he not gone out of the way to install that CCTV Camera. I would have supported him had not committed such mean blunder.

Just to revenge against police ,stealing cars is not a hero act. With it ,car owners will be having uncomfortable damage, times .and eventuell loose money. That too he is lawyers husband, may not give a good impression to son too.One should think over such things .Police might have mistaken as in the first instance. Now punishment is must ,specially he was trying to install cctv camera in girls bath room?Shame on him.Bringing shame to his family too.
