Visit to ‘Samvedana’ by Youth Red Cross Unit, Aids awareness cell

Mangaluru, Sep 16: Youth Red Cross Unit and AIDS awareness cell of St Agnes College (Autonomous) here on September 14 organized a visit to a rehabilitation centre for HIV-AIDS affected children named ‘Samvedana’ near Pumpwell, here.

There were around 23 HIV- AIDS affected children from the age group of 8 to 20 years. This visit was planned with an intention to help those kids in some way.

The members of YRC Unit and AIDS Awareness Cell contributed clothing, fruits, snacks and also some amount which can be used for their regular medicine. The members also conducted few fun games for the children.

30 members actively participated and contributed generously.
