Mumbai, Sep 12: On Thursday, the 10-day Ganesha festival will draw to a close. The line-up of majestic Ganesha idols will head to Chowpatty as several devotees witness the grandeur.

More than 40,000 security personnel have been deployed for the occasion. In addition to this, the BMC has also released a warning regarding 16 bridges which cannot be overloaded. The civic body has advised the people to cross the bridge in small groups as a couple of them can only take 16 tonnes.

The 'visarjan' will be monitored by drones and arrangements are made for a contingency. Over 5,000 CCTV cameras will be looking over the event. Along with the CCTV, there will be bomb squads, ambulance, fire brigade, Lifeguards and boats at standby.
