Mumbai, Sep 12: Gulabi Chinnayya Shetty (86), mother of Mumbai north constituency MP Gopal C Shetty recently passed away at her residence in Borivli west, due to old age.

She has left behind four sons, two daughters and a large number of friends and relatives. Relatives and friends of the MP, office bearers and members of various organizations expressed their condolences on the demise of Gulabi Shetty.

Her last rites were held in Poisar crematorium.
