Bengaluru: Rainfall intensity tapers down - Normal rain in a few places

Bengaluru, Sep 12: During the 24-hour period ended 8.30 am on Wednesday, September 11, a number of places in state's coast and a few places in interior places received some rain. During this period, Subrahmanya registered the highest rainfall of five cm.

Rainfall in Kota, Udupi district and Bhagamandala in Kodagu was three cm. The city got two cm rain while Kollur, Karkala, Bhatkal and other places got one cam rainfall.

The meteorological department, in a prediction that is valid till Friday morning, has said that most places in coastal Karnataka, a number of places in south interior Karnataka and a few in north interior Karnataka might receive some rain.
