Bengaluru: Nativity celebrated by Ekkvote members Hennur

Bengaluru, Sep 10: Nativity celebration was held at the Tent of Love in Preeti Nivas Trust on Hennur main road. In spite of the rains, the crowd was bigger and the Tent of Love was filled to capacity so much so that the 240 chairs provided were insufficient to seat the crowd and more were ordered.

The flower showering ceremony was very lively and colorful which was complimented by the singing of the choir by a relatively new group of singers who did a brillian job that won appreciation especially from the main celebrant Fr Salvadore Fernandes OFM. 

The parish priest, Fr Christopher Ponnuswamy, Fr Jokhim from Carmalites, deacon Br Sundeep were there along with the rector of GPN, Fr Kulandai and Fr Peter. Around 240 people participated in this well organised ceremony and Vincent, David, Julius, Joseph Rodricks, Joseph D'Souza contributed their might, while from the ladies' side Lavina Saldhana, Gracy D'Souza, Sylvia Monteiro, Nishma Monterio, Sunieeta Regal, Halen Fernendes, Sumi, Monica and many others contributed their might.



Leena Rodrigues and Maria D'Souza were in charge of the kitchen where tasty food was prepared for all. All the participants shared the meal. Housie, Konkani singing, Konkani riddles were part of the entertainment. The Ekkvote family is thanked immensely for the holy and memorable celebration.
