Mangaluru: Mother Mary Sodality donates wheelchairs to Wenlock Hospital

Mangaluru, Sep 6: Mother Mary Sodality, Hampankatta, here donated two wheelchairs to government Wenlock Hospital here.

Hospital in charge medical officer Dr Jacintha D’Souza said that the hospital with 1,000 beds provides excellent facilities. “Patients from outside the district come here and we provide high class service to them. The hospital has repeatedly received national awards for health and cleanliness.”

Sodality president Vivian Sequeira said that it is their token of service. “Sodality always works for the progress of poor and we intend to provide extra service to the hospital,” he said.

Hospital resident doctor, Julian Saldanha, Dr Vijay Kumar, nursing superintendant Sarojini, Sodality secretary Ligory Fernandes, treasurer Sushil Noronha, vice president Michael Menezes, managing committee members Rudolf D’Silva and Lawrence Pinto were present.
