Mangaluru, Jul 18: As blood stains were found in the district court premises in the parking lot in the afternoon on Friday July 12 this year, forensic experts had arrived, collected samples of the blood stains and sent it for testing. The report received now has taken a curious turn.

The people who sweep the premises had found blood stains on July 12 at about 2.30 pm in front of the court entrance where vehicles are parked. As local people too had grown suspicious about it, Bunder police station was informed. There were also stains on a Scorpio vehicle belonging to a lawyer that was parked there. Besides, stains were found nearby to a distance of thirty meters.

Bunder police who arrived at the spot, had collected the blood samples and sent the same to forensic science laboratory. Even CC camera recordings could not throw any light on this strange phenomenon. It appeared at the outset that the blood stain mark would have been the result of sword attack.

The report from the forensic laboratory received now states that the blood stains were that of a dog. Therefore the police have put an end to this curious incident.
