Kuwait job fraud issue - 19 youths to fly home on July 17

Kuwait, Jul 16: Nineteen youths from Mangaluru, stranded in Kuwait due to alleged job fraud will fly back to India on July 17. 

According to Sibi US, second secretary, Embassy of India, currently 42 people are awaiting for necessary paperwork to return to India. Out of these, the visas of 15 Mangalureans were cancelled on Tuesday, July 16. They have been issued temporary exit visas which will allow them to return to India. 

The visas of the remaining four youths will be cancelled on Wednesday. 


Sibi US with Mohandas Kamath

According to Mohandas Kamath, an expatriate from Kuwait, nineteen youths will board the flight to India on Wednesday evening and will arrive in Mumbai on Thursday morning. They will travel to Mangaluru by bus. 

On July 14, one of the victims Abhishek Manjeshwar reached Mangaluru. "I feel liberated from hell," he told media. He thanked all expatriates for their generous contributions and for helping the victims to return home.

    Hope this tragic episode, will opens the eyes n ears of youth's, who still dream of a future in the middle east... Houses, properties, are mortgaged, loans are taken from relatives n friends, to pay off agents, who promise them paradise !!!! They should all realize, that the Gulf Boom is long over !!!! only professionals and skilled work force are considered for employment.....
