Mangaluru, Jul 13: The auditions for Mr and Ms Alpha India 2019 and Ms Alpha Super National 2019, were held on July 7 here at Canara College. The national level beauty pageant was organised by Shadow Fashion.

The event was inaugurated by the event director Romuald D’Souza by lighting a lamp. The honourable judges who presided over the event were Sudhir Shetty, Shifali Saldanha, Shipra Shetty, Hera Pinto and Shwetha Santhosh.

The dress code for the contestants was white t-shirt coupled with denim trousers. Contestants from different regions in Mangaluru gave auditions with a hope to make it through. Judges had a tough choice to select from the talented group of contestants as all of them performed to the best of their abilities. Over 60 contestants took part in the event.

The next round of auditions will be taking place in Bengaluru, followed by the auditions in Maharashtra, Goa, Patna and Haryana.

As of currently, over 350 registrations have already been received from across the country. A plan regarding online auditions is considered wherein the interested participants can record a video of their ramp walk with a short introduction and send it via WhatsApp on the number 919964022600. A nominal fee of Rs 199 will be charged for the same. The acceptable modes of payment considered are Google Pay or Paytm.
